Club
The
Club was formed by a small group of runners 15 years ago.
Our numbers have not really increased over the years, although
we have a nucleus of 12 runners. Club nights are held on
Monday and Wednesday nights at 7.00pm, in the Electricity
Sports and Social Club in Capenhurst village, next to the
station. We are affiliated to most of the Athletic Associations
and as a by product of the running club, we have weekends
away camping and walking. As a new venture in 2002, we organised
a beer festival at the Electricity Sports and Social Club.
